FireText is an award-winning team of marketing experts, developers and problem solvers who provide a powerful SMS messaging platform to businesses and government organisations. A bespoke cloud solution from Amito has enabled it to support the needs of enterprise customers, while successfully expanding into the public sector.

The ability to send timely marketing texts to consumers, or urgent informational texts to service users, requires incredibly low network latency. It’s crucial that they’re delivered instantly, so FireText’s customers cannot afford network delays. They also need the highest levels of security to comply with regulations such as GDPR.

The brief

FireText started out in 2007 on a small rented hosted server solution. The next few years saw rapid growth, and the company found itself in need of a bigger and better solution. It asked Amito to design an upgraded cloud solution that could support its ever-expanding business, with guaranteed security and 100% uptime.

The solution

Amito proposed a bespoke hosting solution tailored to FireText’s exact requirements. This included 24/7 expert support and guidance as standard, coupled with physical on-site security and virtual controls at an infrastructure level. Everything sits inside a private network, ensuring secure communication and giving FireText complete control.
